Mark a bill paid using an existing transaction

Tap Mark paid on a bill. Under Already recorded, choose the expense you already imported or entered. Matching amounts are shown first; Show all recorded expenses and search help find differently named payments. Confirm the merchant, amount, date and bill due date.

The details that matter

Link payment creates no transaction and does not change funds or spending. It attaches the existing expense to that bill cycle and advances the next due date. Existing category, amount, source and funds setting are preserved. Use Record a new payment only when no transaction exists. A combined merchant charge can cover several distinct bills. Already-linked charges remain available for other bills; the Covers label shows existing links. Linking does not split the charge or add spending. Undo affects only the selected bill. The latest linked payment can be undone while keeping the transaction; Payment details remains available on completed one-time bills.
